Portion control >>>>>> Tracking calories down to the decimals
Especially for your mental health.
Measuring every single gram of food before eating it can be a bit too much, unless you’re getting on stage to compete or if you really want to.

Other than portion control :
- have a structure surrounding your meals eg. know how many meals you will eat per day. 3 meals ? 2 meals ?
- try have some protein with every meal.
- invest in plates & bowls that are aligned with the portion sizes you wanna eat. #thrivefitnesske

I used to track and measure my food down to the gram, but after some time it really took a toll on my mental health.. because I just wanted to eat without having to weigh my food every single time.

However, on the flip side, I’m able to eyeball & almost be accurate 95% of the time when I’m getting my food on the plate. I can tell what 80 grams of carbs looks like, estimate a meal worth 450 calories etc.
But I don’t religiously track anymore. Just eyeballing.
