You need stress

Without stress, you would never:
- set goals
- start a project
- complete the work

Use stress to grow and change
Stressing about stress keeps you stressed

Worrying about stress holds you back from success
Success isn’t about no stress, it’s about using it well

- problem solve
- speed processing
Stress can depress and create growth

Stressful experiences can change you for the better

Experiences of stress can help you develop
- mental toughness
- new perspectives
- awareness
- meaning
- mastery

How you view the stress matters
You can use stress better by:

Welcome stress
Use your stress
Name stress for what it is

3. What do you do when stressed?
4. Track these patterns for a while
5. Name stress when it shows up
Welcome stress when it shows up

Pushing stress away keeps you down. Instead, welcome stress because it shows what's important to you

Push away stress you push away care

Instead, say this: “I am stressed about this because I care about …
Use stress better
