I think - hey we need another take - the key to the polls is that the Tories have fallen on a lucky narrative, which is the vaccine being very successful has weirdly weaponised in their favour how bad UK Covid has been, making where are now more of a "we turned it round" story.

To be clear, I'm aware that the success of the rollout is very little to do with the Government. But such details don't matter to the *story*.

Particularly given that the EU fucked their rollout, which can then be spun as, look, Brexit has led us out of the pandemic.
