make no mistake, my "business model" is based in accessibility for a reason.

- my tweetfics are free to share, read, respond to. tip jar is optional.

- my serials are FREE for ANYONE to read - tip if you can, but if you can't, no worries
most people can't find enough time to read. I struggle to find the MOTIVATION to read even when I have the time. I want stuff I can jump right into and read without having to worry about commitment

there you go, tweetfic and serials
the serials, when completed, are re-edited and published as books - this is what I did with Heart of Stone, its what I'll do with Powder and Feathers and the rest

so you can buy them as an ebook if you want and you can, but you can also read them online
my short stories are all available on Patreon for $3 a month, or everything is on Medium as part of your Medium membership

I'll do ebook collections of short stories eventually, but that's extremely cheap for how much work I actually produce
and you know what? I'm earning a living on it. I want to expand and earn more so I can pay my editor full time etc

but the only reason I'm earning a living atm is because of the superlative amount of content that I'm capable of producing across different media
I believe ALL CREATORS should be able to earn a living the same way I am - not because they're writing the same amount of work as I am, but because EVERYONE deserves enough money not just to live on but to thrive

we should all be able to fucking live
and we should all have enough free time, enough academic stability, enough mental health and energy not sapped from us by a capitalist system, to express ourselves through art
me:

- making a good bit of my work free for everyone
- making my work available on a cheap subscription basis
- making ebooks an option rather than the only way to read my work

and me

- believing in a UBI
- believing in a 4 day work week with 6hr days or shorter

are the same
they're all part of the same philosophy - the same philosophy you see reflected in a lot of my work when I centre the importance of community support and human connection

most writers couldn't do what I do bc there's not enough hours, they work slower, etc
that's not bad! everyone works at a different pace!

but that means they don't have the freedom to present their work the strange way I do even if they want to - bc they need economic stability! we all do!

I'm currently very lucky and shouldn't be. every artist should have this.
art should be accessible to everyone imo, and be as free as possible

but with our current society art can rarely be free bc artists aren't supported by society to create, libraries are underfunded, etc

art cannot be free if artists aren't free to make it
