How @Hedgeye's process and @KeithMcCullough's coaching and teaching have helped me so much in my investments, business and personal life. This will be a long thread.

1. First some context. I'm from Mexico and my family has always been in the optical business for more than 100 years. In 1994 a massive financial crisis hit Mexico. It killed the middle class overnight, our business was in ruins.

2. That experience marked my life. I always wanted to know why that happened and if it could have been prevented. That's why I wanted to become an investor and understand the economy. The signs were there but nobody was paying attention.

3. If Hedgeye had been around then a lot of people could have seen things coming, prepare and even profit. I discovered Hedgeye in early 2019 and have been there since and have been able to manage the Covid Crisis.

4. The information provided is best in class, and also the process. Hedgeye is not a tip service. It's an information service for you to take advantage of that intel and apply it in markets. But it turns out, that it is not for financial markets only.

5. The #process has helped me make better decisions in my optical business! Something as simple as cutting your losers, well, inventory that is not working is sold at a discount to recover capital for something that works.

6. The #Quads have helped me plan ahead. If we're going into #Quad4 I start buying inventory cause I'm in Mexico and it's going to become more expensive. I have restructured loans using the rates outlook.

7. My account size might me laughable compared to the average Hedgeye suscriber, but the #process is my constant education. The Elite Pass is a financial effort for me but it's worth every penny, and one day my account won't be laughable.

8. And now the personal life approach. Everybody mocks Rich Dad - Poor Dad, but that book is a great to start and learn. It tells you to surround yourself with people the right people (The Rich Dads). The Hedgeye platform, the analyst and guests in the Summit are just that.

9. I take advice from @KeithMcCullough, @HedgeyeFIG, @HedgeyeUSA and through them i discovered @DiMartinoBooth @dlacalle_IA @biancoresearch @JeffSnider_AIP and many more.

10. Every morning I watch the Macro Show while I have breakfast with my daughters, sometimes I have to watch again because they are talking to me about Paw Patrol and get distracted. (Don't mind my youngest wardrobe choice).

11. The Macro show is super important for me. It is my coaching session of the day. @KeithMcCullough is criticized all the time for his ultra competitive personality, but it's that personality that pushes you to get out of your confort zone.

12. In a world that wants you to be complacent, The Macro Show is your every day reminder to get up, do the work, don't whine and FOLLOW YOUR PROCESS. I no longer watch the news, I think in terms of rate of change now. Volatility is everywhere, take advantage of it.
