got a baby mouse away from Leo (unharmed) and released it. now he isn't speaking to me. c'mon cat, you know the game. you try to kill a mouse, the mouse and I try to stop you. get good
now Frost got one of its siblings. also seems unharmed but is in shock so I put it in a little tank with some wood shavings to recover before I let it go outside because I am a very unreasonable person
this is dumb as fuck. why can't I just let him kill it. compassion is for chumps.
well he's moving and not paralyzed but he is still trembling terribly. gonna leave him alone for like an hour and see how he does.

dunno if he's very lucky or very unlucky. rough night for sure though.
this deeply unfortunate family appears to be nesting under the cat food cabinet, so I guess I can see why the cats are confused
of all the places for a mother mouse to set up shop, right next to the Fancy Feast has got to be the worst
gonna make him a tiny t-shirt that says I SURVIVED BIG CHUNGUS
he seems uninterested in water, rice, and peanut butter. not trembling though. can't tell if that's good or if he's just dying.
i have to reiterate that i know it's very stupid that i'm trying to save a baby mouse when i'm immediately going to put him outside to be eaten by some wild creature. i know.
yeah he's dying. man I hate having feelings. he's literally vermin, how am I sad about this
won't eat or drink anything including milk from a dropper. just lets it sit on his nose and won't even wipe it off. he's a goner. ☹️
they got a third one but it's already dead. guess they found the nest and they're just picking them off one by one over the course of the night. horrifying.

cats: 0/10, would NOT recommend to a friend
