Hey #sschat fam! I& #39;m gonna make a few detours to share some under-the-hood insights into our ongoing #EADRoadmap efforts (1/7)
The first thing I want you to know is that we& #39;ve been super busy since launch. Why the apparent slow speed? Because we& #39;re always striving for maximum viewpoint diversity and consensus on everything we do. That takes time. #sschat (2/7)
The next thing I want to you to know is #EADRoadmap shows us the way down a long, long road. Our ambitious plans take us all the way to 2030 and beyond! So fuel up, don& #39;t be afraid to hit a few rest stops, and keep your eyes on the road. #sschat (3/7)
We& #39;ll be hitting lots of attractions over the coming weeks and months, including more content curation and lots of PD opportunities, including "one-offs" and "series". Our goal is to certify lots of #EADRoadmap teachers. We& #39;ll give you and ETA ASAP #sschat (4/7)
In the meantime, get super cozy on the EAD site. Familiarize yourself with the #EADRoadmap and be sure to review the brilliant Pedagogy Companion. #sschat https://www.educatingforamericandemocracy.org..."> https://www.educatingforamericandemocracy.org... (5/7)
Nearing the end of the road for this thread, but I need you all to know that there is so much work to do, and that there is a place for each and every one of you. No assigned seats. Just open roads. Follow @EADRoadmap for the latest and don& #39;t hesitate to reach out. #sschat (6/7)
I asked @dsallentess how she could be hopeful about the #EADRoadmap in our current political climate. Her response: "What choice do we have?" She& #39;s right, y& #39;all. So buckle up and keep the faith, and may the road that is America go on forever. Over and out. #sschat (7/7)
