I find it interesting how many “experts” have suddenly appeared, offering their opinions on collaboration tools. I don’t want to belittle anyone, but there is a huge difference between simply understanding features of consumer tools versus the requirements of enterprise tools.

Unless you’ve worked with several large enterprises you probably don’t understand the needs of security, compliance, governance, scalability, accessibility, administration, integration, testing, deployment, adoption, reporting and more. (2/2)

To be clear, there is nothing wrong with someone voicing an informed opinion. The people that impress me the most are those that know what they don’t know. They know what ?s they have to ask, where they need to gain knowledge, who to reach out to for insights and guidance.
