Still sometimes can’t get over how one of the 2 major US political parties’ official strategy to win this election is to aggressively steal the right to vote from probably 100s of thousands of people. No policy rethinking, no outreach, just steal voting rights. That’s their plan.
Those running the GOP now know that the will of the American people is against them, so they’re just going to thwart the will of the American people. This is what they are pouring the effort of their full organization into. It was a conscious party-wide choice.
How does one feel good about that? How does one feel inspired to continue with this “mission”? How can one still think that these people and policies are the way forward? That these are the good guys?
The GOP’s candidate for person to run things and his staff just left thousands of seniors to walk a few freezing miles after a rally. That didn’t have to happen. That’s not running things. And it’s the kind of thing that happens constantly! How can one be so pro-fuck up?
TL;dr: gop voters, wtf?
And to those who will say, you’re just figuring this out now?, congratulations. You beat us all to enlightenment
Also, nobody tries to stop people from voting in an election that they think they won’t lose
