Working out with a waist trainer.
What you think is happening : the waist is getting smaller with each rep.
What’s actually happening : restricted oxygen intake, restricted diaphragmatic expansion = lower performance & explosiveness + inhibited mind-muscle connection.

Contrary to popular belief, the waist trainer actually takes away the function of your deep core muscles (the transverse abdominis & deep supportive muscles etc.) and that will make you compromise on your form tremendously = higher risk of injury.
On the other hand, a sweat belt ≠ a waist trainer. All it does is make you sweat more, which can slightly lower your water weight, BUT won’t do much for your actual body fat / visceral fat.
