How you treat your parents, your children will treat you.

How you treat your wife, your daughter will be treated by her husband.

Before you go asking honor of the world.

You must first look within.

The world is a wheel.

Everything comes back around.

The good and the bad.

— A father has all these rules and restrictions for how her daughters husband must be.

“He must be honorable! And have a good job, and treat her with respect!”

Meanwhile this man is none of these to his wife.

So when the daughter was asked “what do you want in a husband?”

She said “as long as he’s not like my father”

He was seeking everything in the boy that he wasn’t himself.

Unfortunately the universe doesn’t work this way.

— A man abandons his parents when they need him most.

After they’ve fought, and worked, and battled through life.

All for this man to have the good life he has now.

Now that they’re old, fragile, and can barely get around the house.

“Well I’m too busy with work” he says.

So he calls them once a week.

And some weeks he forgets.

And as he grows older, and he misses his parents on their death bed because he was too busy.

All of a sudden he’s old and sick.

And his kids he worked so hard for.

Are nowhere to be found, busy with their own lives.

For so the universe goes.

To expect honor you must live with honor.

Live the values you wish to instill in your children, and attract the people you wish to attract to your children.

For the world is a wheel.

And everything you put out will always come back round.
