I had hoped to complete an article by today, the 45th anniversary of the women's strike, outlining my reflections on living in Iceland, the #1 country for gender equality. But I found that, as I began writing and collection links to supporting articles, I felt a bit stuck...
There are so many great things about this country and this society. We have laws for equal pay, board parity, equal rights. There are also numerous examples of how, as a friend put it, Iceland is really just the least worst place to be a woman. (...)
