Both individuals are competing to lose weight.

They’re both 200lbs, with a goal of getting to 175lbs.

“I’m fast tracking my weight loss and will get to 175lbs first!”

In 3 months, https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👨🏻‍🦱" title="Man, curly haired (heller Hautton)" aria-label="Emoji: Man, curly haired (heller Hautton)"> reaches 175lbs while https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👨🏼" title="Mann (mittelheller Hautton)" aria-label="Emoji: Mann (mittelheller Hautton)"> is hovering around 180lbs.

By looking at the scale, https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👨🏻‍🦱" title="Man, curly haired (heller Hautton)" aria-label="Emoji: Man, curly haired (heller Hautton)"> has won the competition!

He hit 175lbs!
If we look at their physiques side by side,

He didn’t reach 175lbs yet,

But looks FAR better because of the effort he put into lifting weights!
The moral of the story is to focus as much on weight loss as building muscle.

Half of the battle is losing weight,

The other half is building muscle to look the part.
