I'm walking Lights & this cute guy said "she's so cute!" I said "thx" & kept walking. I stopped to take a photo of a street harassment mural & we started talking about police brutality & he asked if I wanted to go for a walk some time the Victorian meets pandemic vibe of this omg

This is the mural. He said he loved that I loved it, & when he saw it he knew he loved this neighborhood. And I was like um this is cute, He's wearing a mask, I'll play this through. And he made me laugh which like 5% of men do so I gave him my number & it's extremely wholesome??

FYI I've also had a lot of meetcutes with women and non-binary hot people during this, but they usually resulted in an immediate mutual anxiety/shyness stand off where we both walked away like "well that was prob my soulmate cool". Bless us.

Ugh update. I gave him a shot and it was not great, I almost blocked him and moved on, but instead I explained why it was bad and he was so understanding and apologetic and grateful for a second chance..and then he got one and he behaved the exact same way. Why, exactly, are men?
