I bought paint and ceiling fans for my mom’s house. I moved to mass. I’ve been able to sit out a pandemic and not worry about catching covid at a bar job. Yeah I’d say fucking changed a few things.

Doorknobs. Do you know how much it costs to replace doorknobs? It’s like 200 for an average size house with standard number of doors. I had a house once. And for months I’d buy one, every month. Took five years to replace them all. I did all my mom’s doorknobs last Saturday.

In other less pleasant changes, this is what happens when you become a soft-handed writer and have to use a drill all day for the first time in god knows how long.

Oh. And because I got the next installment on the advance, the Akita got a new bed. He likes it. (He’s still not sure why I think he now needs a woobie on his hips but he’s tolerating it.)
