We focus a lot on QUANTITATIVE data - test positivity, number of hospitalizations - but there is also enormous value in QUALITATIVE data. If we interviewed a hundred contact tracers right now, what could they teach us? 1/3 https://twitter.com/kj_seung/status/1315111521828171779
Examples:
- Where is transmission occurring?
- Are people having trouble accessing testing?
- Do people have a safe place to isolate?
- Are people afraid to disclose certain types of contacts?
- Are people unwilling to quarantine for fear of lost wages? 2/3
Contact tracers, those on the phones all day conducting interviews, are the experts I want to hear from. Anyone aware of efforts to learn from them in a structured way? 3/3
