Ranger: Hey everyone! Good news, my goat companion is pregnant!

Paladin: Congratulations!

Cleric: Aww! Little goat babies!

Rogue: Do we know who the father is?

Ranger: No, she likes to go off on her own a lot. It was probably at one of the last villages.

Druid: *sweats*
#DnD
Bard: Hey Druid, you ok?

Druid: Yeah, just a little under the weather. I’m excited too!

Bard: Is that right? Any thoughts on who the father is?

D: It’s a mystery for sure...

B: Hmm. *begins strumming lute*

D: What are you doing there?

B: Casting Zone of Truth.

D: Oh no.
Ranger: What are you doing?

Bard: Testing a theory. I know a thing or two about this subject.

Druid: Please don’t.

B: Are you the father of the goat babies?

D: No.

B: *double checks spell*

D: Just drop it.

B: What are you not telling us?

Goat: He’s trying to protect me.
Ranger: You can talk!? Why didn’t you say something before!?

Goat: Never had anything worth saying.

Druid: I’m sorry.

G: I know. Thank you for trying.

R: What is happening!?

G: The Druid and I do have a history, but not in this form. They know who I am... who I was.
G: I am cursed.

R: To be a goat?

G: No, I chose this form. My family owes a great debt to something ancient and evil. My children are to be their food...

D: So I helped her hide as a goat, hoping to lose the trail and introduced you two. I hoped we could all protect her...
G: It almost worked.

Bard: So how... you know?

G: I’m a dream sorceress. This goat body is good at hiding but lacks certain... joys. I visit dreams to play, eat, sing, and enjoy intimacy.

B: Dream... pregnancy?

G: Who had an intimate dream recently?

Everyone: *blank stare*
Goat: I do not know what exactly happens next but now that you know, I can’t protect any of you.

Ranger: I wish you told me.

Druid: Don’t blame her.

R: I do. I blame her for not trusting us.

Paladin: We’re a family.

Bard: Quite literally now.

R: We face this together.
I’ll leave the story there; only adding Goatborn as an idea.
