Struggling to lose weight?🤔

Let me talk to you for a sec ⬇️
Everybody knows sleep is important for recovery and reset

but what the majority don't know is

that it also plays a big part in hunger levels the next day.
There are two hormones produced by the body which help regulate hunger.

LEPTIN and GHRELIN

Leptin SURPRESSES our appetite whilst Ghrelin STIMULATES it.

By simply being sleep-deprived, the level of ghrelin spikes, whilst the level of leptin falls.
You already know what that leads to

yep

an increase in hunger the next day.
So the next time you find yourself craving foods high in sugar/fat

you probably didn't get enough sleep

or you're not properly hydrating.

Hunger cues are typically disguised as thirst cues,

so make sure to hydrate before grabbing a snack.
7-9 hours of sleep is the magic number.

Make sure y'all get it đź‘Ť
