Has the President fallen prey to a mind control virus? (thread)

We all know about Toxoplasmosis- the fungus that grows in cat shit and causes infected rats to become sexually attracted to the smell of cat piss.

And who hasn't heard of Ophiocordyceps unilateralis the fungus that zombifies ants and causes them to climb onto leafs where they explode fungal spores on their fellow ants.

And of course we know about rabies that causes its host organism to become aggressively hydrophobic.

So there is already a precedent out there for certain organisms to hijack the nervous system of their host organism and alter their behavior in ways that serve the purpose of the infection.

Could it be that covid 19 does more than alter smell and taste? On paper @realDonaldTrump seems insane and selfish. How could anyone feel OK putting others at risk by infecting them with Covid 19? But if you see him as a host organism who has been hijacked by a virus....

Suddenly his behavior makes sense. What could be better for Covid 19 than to infect the president of the United States, hijack his nervous system and get him to demonstrate behavior that benefits the spread of the infection?
