#FourChildhoodToys I wish I kept...
I had hundreds of these... would spend HOURS standing them up as opposing armies - only to knock them down in a minute’s blitz...
Jesus-H-Christ! I had 2 of these! I loved putting my soldiers on the ‘closed’ top and flipping them to reveal the missile... (just seen the price of it too...

)

Speaking of ‘disappointing’ Kenner sets... I hated this... the only good thing was sinking all the figures you didn’t like into the foam ‘swamp’...
This was also a very cool ship - never had the tie fighter, but loved the way the ‘wings’ could fall off in combat!
But this, this was waaaay more satisfactory! Plus you could store a ton of figures inside in a hurry!
Bike-wise, I had two growing up: the cool-looking Boxer (which I LOVED), and the uncool BMX wannabe, Grifter XL which weighed more than a chieftain tank...
Man... just remembered THIS! I loved that Batmobile with the missiles and flick-out blade on the front...
Outdoors, and ‘this’ was what I was throwing into the air and watching drift into the neighbours tree... and if it wasn’t that, then I was recreating dogfights with bits of coloured polystyrene and a plastic propeller...
My nextdoor neighbour had this, I loved playing with it purely for the tree closing/opening mechanism!
Continuing in the ‘Give-your-grandparents-a heart-attack-on-Christmas-Day’ look at games... here’s a b*stard game to chill the blood...
I was too old for this as a kid... but also, as an older kid, I would stare at it with envy knowing I would play the sh*t out of it, if I did have it...
Though these were all the rage, mine were yellow and blue... it was the 80's which meant clashing colours were a prerequisite...
