I am taking an online writing class and can confirm that online learning suuuuucks

First of all. It's not just the Zoom. It's the tabs. There are so many tabs! Conversation tabs. Live class/discussion tabs. Posting your work tabs. Little red notifications *everywhere*. It's like intellectual Frogger. What am I even *looking* at.

This is through a university obviously. Only a giant academic institution could baffle students this effectively.

Also! Assignments every day? Including weekends? No sense of boundaries? This is not it.

In addition! Everything is on four platforms. You get emails. You have Zooms. You have the online login to the class page with a million notifications. There are texts. I feel so bad for the Youths. How can anyone be expected to tolerate this division of focus.

I have just taken another class that is basically Zoom-only and this is absolutely the way to go
