I mean, what more evidence do we need these 'campaigns' are lying, misrepresenting evidence, engaging in abuse etc.? And more, they're silent on progressive, realistic ways forward on reducing overall traffic, silent on good main road schemes. And who do they stand next to?...

They are standing with, collaborating with, tweeting in support of folks who follow people home, poison planters, doxx people, drive massive diesel SUVs proudly down main roads, put down tacks on benches and roads & oil slicks, who spray paint signs and shunt or smash planters...

They are standing with folks who compare schemes that mean a few minutes more on driven journeys to the Berlin Wall, North Korea, fascism and now the Holocaust, several times. And now, as per tweet above, folks who engage in violent threats, death threats. As @jonburkeUK says...

These schemes are being put in on democratically elected gov't mandate, by councils who have these approaches written in to manifestos, policies etc. These schemes are trials, will be consulted on, many have been widely engaged on already. They solve real, evidenced problems...

So, while there are some legitimate concerns being raised about #LowTrafficNeighbourhood schemes, if you stand against them, look across at your fellow opposition. They're violent, criminal thugs and far-right opportunists. Is that really who you want to be siding with?
