Here's what you're giving up in the compromise, Republicans. Unaccountable pseudo-soldiers waging war against your own countrymen. That shit stops here. You want militarized police, fine. No more qualified immunity and they're all subject to the UCMJ. 2/

Military equipment and training means military accountability. Your small town cops want an MRAP? Fine, that comes with military Rules of Engagement and prison terms in Leavenworth when they fuck it up and kill a nurse in her sleep. 3/

No more weapons and tactics used against our own citizens that are specifically forbade against our enemies by the Geneva Conventions. No more hollow-points, rubber bullets, chemical weapons, beating members of the press, denying medics access to the wounded. NONE OF IT. 4/

You fuckers want to be soldiers, fine. Then expect to act like professional soldiers. Expect to meet the standards demanded of professional soldiers. And expect to suffer the consequences of professional soldiers when you fall short.
