Video game addiction is one of the hardest habits to get rid of.

If you have one of these 5 signs, it's time to stop.

Unless you'd rather turn out like the WoW guy from South Park...

\\\\ THREAD //
1) Feeling irritable/anxious when you can't play

Your brain is a reward-chasing machine.

Games frequently reward you with dopamine.

These rewards keep you hooked.

When you can't play, you don't get the rewards.

Your brain isn't happy til it gets the next fix.
2) Obsessively thinking about games

Your brain is also a problem-solving machine.

It's constantly trying to solve problems to get MORE dopamine.

When you're away from games, you're still thinking about them.

Trying to figure out how to get that next gear upgrade or whatever.
3) Inability to find fun in anything else

Game addicts have a difficult time picking up new hobbies.

Why?

Because their brains are adapted to constant dopamine from games.

Few other things give the same level of dopamine hits as games.

So, addicts don't want to do much else.
4) Avoiding social time & responsibilities to play

When games become your brain's main source of rewards

You stop spending time with people outside of games.

You start letting responsibilities slide.

You'll sneak in gaming during work or study hours.
5) Poor personal hygiene

Taking care of yourself takes time.

But your game-addicted brain doesn't see hygiene as worthwhile.

Do you get gear, gold, or levels from brushing your teeth or showering?

No. So you won't go on those quests.
I used to be a gaming addict.

From 2007 to 2010, I played World of Warcraft for 12 to 16 hours EVERY DAY.

I did nothing else with my life other than eat, sleep, and play WoW.

No wonder I weighed over 370lbs and was prediabetic.

If I hadn't quit, I might not be alive today.
I broke myself out of my addiction.

Now, I'm here to help you with yours.

If any of these 5 signs sound familiar to you, DM me.

I'm open to working with you in 1 on 1 coaching to help you break free.
