I probably shouldn't say anything about this because of an NDA or something, but *I* didn't sign anything and also IDGAF so here we go.

My dim-witted cousin, a solid 6.5/10, put his headshots up on istockphoto to "make some extra loot."
Some prank show bought the rights to use his headshot for like $4. Then they took that headshot and put it on a flyer with the caption, "I have a small problem..." It was an ad for a micropenis support group.
They printed up a couple hundred of these flyers and started placing them in environments where he would naturally discover them: on his row of cars in a parking lot, tacked up on a cork board at Starbucks just before he walked in, etc.
He didn't pay any attention the first few times he saw it because it's junk mail, but the moment he actually glanced at it he stopped dead in his tracks. At first he was enraged that someone had stolen his photo, but rage gave way to panic & dismay as he put the pieces together.
He went to the website on the the flyer they mailed to his home and they'd made a real ass looking website with--you guessed it--his photo up top. He wrote an angry message to contact him IMMEDIATELY only to receive an automated reply saying he'd been added to their member list.
This set off an escalating series of emails, then phone calls, then a face-to-face sit-down at their office, outside of which was a billboard for the group with--you guessed it--his headshot on it.
Once inside the office he sat down with "the head guy and his lawyers or something," and they agreed to pull all local ads as a courtesy while they reviewed the terms of the stock photo contract. There was a brief pause, then boss asked, "Wait, when does the commercial air?"
From the meeting room they heard the receptionist yell, "It's on! It's on!" and they all went running toward the lobby where an ad for their org was playing on TV and right at the end of the commercial was the website with--you guessed it--his big fat glorious headshot.
My cousin isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but the dude can keep his cool, which he'd done admirably up until this point. Foaming at the mouth, he began screaming about calling his attorney--which he doesn't have--when his brother popped out from the office. The jig was up.
They didn't talk for a few days after that, which very well could have been the case regardless the prank, but they're cool again & he's got a good sense of humor about the whole thing. Not sure when it's going to air, but for now I need to get my hands on one of those flyers.
