He is very disingenuous.

Falling over yourself to let white people know you’re a “good black” will forever keep your face in the dirt.

Some of you have short memories because this is the same breakfast tv host who was screaming in Black people’s faces who were guests on his wayward show that; disproportionate stop n search rates shouldn’t upset Black men and boys if they’ve done nothing wrong.

He is aware that wrongness is not the motivations for stopping and searching Black men and boys, it is this country’s deliberately cultivated vilification of Blackness.

This is how white supremacy operates. You’ll have someone like that host saying the most basic shit and being praised for it because he’s taken a short intermission from his usual vitriolic rhetoric.
