We need national policies to create security for all. This has been true for decades.

2) Parents and non-parents need support during #COVID19 & always. Family and personal responsibilities & health issues come in many forms.

Workers on the front lines - not those who can WFH - are most vulnerable.

Public & private policies need to recognize #care needs.

But we are in a divisive time and it& #39;s sad to see parents - especially women - scapegoated when they are being hit hardest by #care needs during the pandemic.

Policy gaps, gov& #39;t leadership crisis & culture are creating long-lasting harm to individuals & the economy.

Companies & employees need to show grace & think of the long game.

Policymakers need to invest in beating #COVID19 & promoting safety; fully fund #schools & #childcare; ensure access to #paidleaveforall so openings can be safe.

We need to demand this.
