Cells and Organelles as ancient Gods. (Niche, I apologise.)
Red Blood Cells. Hermes. The winged heel messenger god. God of heralds (low sats), travellers (oxygen) and thieves (malaria). Medics are a big fan.
Neuron. Athena.

Born of a headache. Goddess of wisdom. Divine counsellor to the Odyssey, life's journey.
Neutrophils. Obviously Ares. You love them, hate them. Grouchy. Start a war over the slightest provocation. Described as "overwhelming, insatiable in battle, destructive, and man-slaughtering" but you want them on your side.
The ribosome: Hephaestus. God of craft and artisans. A little bit under-appreciated compared to the rest of the pantheon. Unfaithfully married to Aphrodite (DNA, goddess of procreation).
B Cell: Hecate. Worshipped as a gooddess of city walls, defences, protector of the household. Also poisons (antibodies), witchcraft and sorcery. But she could turn on you.
Hera: lysosome/vesicle. Although probably underappreciated in terms of power and influence, gets most of the work done behind the scenes, and has knows everything going on around her. Given to protracted seething (acidification) and destruction of her enemies.
Poseidon. God of the sea, storms, earthquakes and horses. I think I'll give him to mast cells, known for being moody and labile, and masts have an association with ships. Tends to pop up unexpectedly and sink things.
Everyone will want Thor for mitochondria, cos of the lightning but actually they are Heka (same 'magic' root as Hecate'. Heka is the god of magic and medicine in ancient Egypt and is also the personification of magic itself. One of oldest gods, part of creation.
Bears staff with two serpents which we recognise as persisting in medical emblemology and from which the other staffs derive. Guides souls of the deceased to the afterlife (apoptosis). Described as mysterious, overlooked but most important, with no cult following unlike Osiris.
Heka was thought to have been present at creation and was the generative power the gods drew upon in order to create life.

In the Coffin Texts (written c. 2134-2040 BCE) "To me belonged the universe before you gods came into being. You have come afterwards because I am Heka"
