The Intimate Relationship Between Strength and Hypertrophy [Thread 1/5]

Strength = force production against external resistance.

In the human body, It is a combination of multiple factors.

Muscle mass
Morphology
Neurological adaptation
Movement skill acquisition
[2/5] Strength is specific to different movements and reps, sets, intensity you do them

The more time you spend with certain loads in a specific rep range, with a specific exercise, the stronger you get in those things

If you always do sets of 5, you get better at sets of 5
[3/5] Volume is then important to strength.

Volume dictates the amount of total work done as well as the amount of practice we get with a movement.

So more volume equals more time doing a particular exercise.
[4/5] How does this tie into Hypertrophy?

Hypertrophy is going to be largley dependent on the total work performed.

Muscles grow using many different loads, rep ranges, and exercises.
[5/5] So, the more practice you have with a movement, the stronger you are.

The stronger you are, the more you can overload and manipulate loads, rep ranges, exercises, and frequency.

Thus, you can obtain more hypertrophy.
