The problem with conversations surrounding "Law and Order" is that it means two distinctly different things to the two extremes, and they both want their own version

For BLM and allies, L&O means justice and fairness. It means laws that are applied evenly and without malice. 1/

For Trump and the right-wing, L&O is utterly divorced from justice. It means maintaining the status quo through government force and violence. It means keeping brown and black people in check. For them law and order is an extention of white supremancy, not a means to end it. 2/

Both sides talk about wanting law and order, but what they want could not be more different. It's those differences that need to be highlighted.

Don't let them paint you as being against law and order. Make it clear and undeniable what law and order means to you. 3/3
