A of all because I NEED THIS and B of all because if he doesn’t pull it off he will be a sad and broken man who can never make another movie, just wandering the streets and clutching at strangers asking how he could have made it work and then he’ll have to go back to Quebec.

Speaking of Villeneuve, it’s very jarring to go from seeing Jake G in “Prisoners” to seeing Jake G as “Mr Music” in a John Mulaney children’s special within less than a single day and I would suggest not doing that.

Speaking of Dune, a weird thing I used to do as a kid was carefully pour myself a very tall glass of ice water every time I read Dune in order to be like “these people think they’re so fancy and aristocratic but *I* have a tap and an ice cube tray.”
