hey #NEISVoid #MedTwitter specifically #EhlersDanlos #EDS Twitter does anyone have a list of what information to give the hospital if you& #39;re having surgery, like in an emergency? I& #39;m thinking like a packet to keep with me.

-Summary of medical record info from places where I do have established care
-List of medications, dosing, time taken
-List of allergies to medications and contraindicated medications /2

-Anesthesia information (EDSers need more & I have a genetic thing where I have trouble starting to breathe again when I am coming out of a particular type)

-Tell then to pre and post-treat me with lots of IV saline for POTS because surgery causes it to flare
-Tell them to pre-treat me with prednisone for the MCAS and to watch out for MCAS reactions /4

-Make sure they know that I am allergic to all antibiotics that I know of and should only be given antibiotics if absolutely necessary, be monitored for anaphylaxis, and pre-medicated /5
