With the snowball method, you do the smallest things first

PROS

- gets a lot of things checked off quickly

- builds your confidence and your momentum

CONS

- can get sidetracked playing whack-a-mole with low-value tasks

- may never get to the big things

With the avalanche method, you do the biggest things first

PROS

- get the most important things done first

- things get easier as you go

CONS

- may lose confidence if you don& #39;t make progress

- may get stuck on big things and never get to little things

I personally prefer using the avalanche method

I like to get my biggest tasks done first

That way they& #39;re not hanging over me for a long time

That& #39;s what works best for me - try both and see which fits you best!
