So a little bit of context here. Those who know me, know that I'm passionate about finding new ways to promote people of color in motorsport.

But, the discussion is complicated and complex. There are several topics, good, bad and ugly that all blur together, so we end up...
...with a conversation where people aren't sure what celebrating diversity means.

So what I wanted to do it break down the conversation into bite sized chunks, as a way to start to dive into my thoughts around it.
One of my sponsors, turned good friend, has a podcast where we talk about marketing tactics in the automotive industry, and so I wanted to pivot the conversation around that, because after we get a few topics in, I believe we can start talking about tactics that people...
...and businesses can start implementing to have conversations around diversity a bit more clearly.

Motorsport and the automotive aftermarket go hand in hand, so it's a way to make a social topic apply, while using some common areas that we all understand.
Also, and a bit selfishly, I've been invited onto a few podcasts and calls to talk about my thoughts about diversity in motorsport, and this gives me a chance to practice a little.

I'm hoping that people will listen and share their thoughts, so that we can learn from each other.
I know I should be using hashtags like #diversity #motorsport, etc, but then I run out of space.

I wish @twitter would let you add hashtags as like a tag to a post, like a bug or a ticket in ADO, rather than taking up character space in a message...
Also I'm planning on starting a black automotive enthusiast podcast, and doing some of these episodes first in a 'neutral' format will help me seperate/formulate my thoughts about social issues, before I start interviewing guests.
I'm explaining all of this here, because I have what's known as 'Stupid Facebook', and the majority of the people there aren't going to help develop these ideas anyway.

If anything, Facebook is where I get the inspiration for projects like these, because I get white-splained...
...by people who don't want to have complex social conversations.
