k here’s how it works: in conversations about hiring and diversity, all you have to do is NOT say, “...yeah but we should hire the best person” – and you win! 🎉
I’ve heard this so many times and it never makes any sense b/c NO ONE is asking you to “lower the bar.”

Recruiting with diversity in mind has nothing to do with being forced to hire “worse” candidates.

It’s about examining and designing our processes with intention, so we can truly build the best team possible.
