i tutor hs juniors in coding and today we were making a messaging app and i needed a name for a user so a kid said "try jeff" and i did the "my name jeff" voice from vine and not a single kid laughed...completely silent zoom call, after like 15 seconds one kid asked if i was ok

am i old, is that what today's crisis is? do i not relate to the youth anymore

y’all kept telling me to let go of vine,,,I should’ve listened man they prob gonna start calling me old behind my back I’m shaking with anger rn

if any tech companies see this and r hiring i can code in most languages (not doing C or assembly tho fuck off) and i wont tweet on the job...my last internship fired me for that so like i learned my lesson :/
