My sister works at a daycare. One of her coworkers was diagnosed with COVID 19, and the school ONLY notified the people in that woman’s classroom, and no other teachers or parents. Now my sister has COVID.

My anger is indescribable.

My sister lives in Georgia, and I will let her decide if and/or when she feels safe to name her employer.

There are legal issues at work here, but my sister’s coworkers know about her diagnosis, and members of the local press are being contacted. If and/or when I have more information, I will share it AS LONG AS it doesn’t put my sister in danger.

She would never ask for herself, but my sister is a student working on her MBA, recently moved, and now missing work due to her COVID diagnosis, and if you’re someone who has it to spare, I know financial assistance (beyond what I can provide) would help: $nikkimouse11

Whatever you do, please take this seriously. Please make sure wherever you’re sending your kids has a COVID notification policy you agree with, and that at any given time, decisions are being made to protect the ENTIRE school community.
