paying people to stay home during the pandemic is NOT "free" money. It's compensation for the hardship the govt absolutely must expose people to in order to end the pandemic fast/safely. It's bonkers for anyone to characterize addt'l unemployment/other pandemic $ as "free money"

this is of course connected to decades of conservatives characterizing anyone who isn't working as being essentially a traitor to the state and a thief. their brains are too poisoned to see staying at home as the sacrifice/great hardship/socially supportive act it VERY clearly is
