I thought about it for a minute, and I think I'm warmer than most people. I know human beings are warm, or are supposed to be, but I feel like everyone else is not as warm as I am. And here's why.
Cold stuff hurts my skin. I can't bathe with cold water (even on hot days) because it's painful. Not in a dramatic or literal sense, but in the same way having your plate of food fall down when you're hungry is. Also, maybe in a literal sense as well. Because it makes me wince.
And my body doesn't really get used to the temperature before the bath is over. It's uncomfortable throughout, up until the point where I dry myself. Best case scenario. My arm just touched a cold wall, and that's where this thread is coming from.
I knew my arm was going to touch the wall, and I didn't stop it. What I did was wince in anticipation. The wall wasn't even that cold, and I knew it will only feel that cold for a second or two, but that didn't change much. And I thought that was weird.
I think the only part of my body I can tolerate cold stuff on is the part of my arms below my elbows, and my head. Then again, I like the harmattan season. Not the dryness, or hot afternoons, I like the cool nights.
