First, if ayat tersebut you won’t say to a friend, then don’t use it
e.g: I’m (you're) not good enough
Bila kawan gagal do something, what will you say?
Option 1: Tu la, kau tak good enough. Bodoh!
Option 2: Cuba lagi, maybe next time dapat! Don't give up.

Kalau ada kawan korang pilih Option 1, kawan toxic tu. Hati² sikit, takut makin teruk negative self-talk korang. Mungkin dia gurau je. But please bagi cakap sikit gently

Second, follow up your negative self-talk with positive talk
When we say benda negative, imagine you are your good friend. Apa dia akan reply?
Dia akan reassure us, dia akan deny benda² negative
So do that! Jawab balik negative self-talk dengan ayat² positive

Third, tell yourself benda ni is beyond your control
We will assume things. Tapi kita kena ingat, benda yang beyond our control is external, diluar kawalan kita. We do not know apa kan berlaku lepas tu

Contohi Nabi Musa (ﷺ). Bila pengikut² Nabi Musa nampak tentera Firaun, mereka risau/takut. But Nabi Musa did not.

Fourth, acceptance
It's beyond our control. We did our best & we tawakkal
The outcome may not be what we wanted. It’s okay.
We must learn to accept that. Think of it like this: “Maybe this is not my day but tomorrow is a new day”

Allah (SWT) dah janji in the Quran:

If it's within our control, then what can we do to be better?
We need to acknowledge what we did. BUT don't blame yourself or others
