The old “I’m so confused about racism!” line of attack.
White women think they’re slick but not with me today, not with me ever.
“What if we had a white entertainment channel?!” 🥴

Every channel has been a white entertainment channel, Karen.

That’s the problem.
“If equality is wanted why would you have a Black Entertainment Channel?!”

So because equality is wanted we should sit there and not have anything in the meantime.

Your entire shire is mad.
“My husband is white and grew up in the black culture and suffered pretty bad racism”

Your husband didn’t suffer racism.
“My best friends parents were shot at point blank range for being white...”

Highly doubt it.
White women *always* approach me with feigned confusion while being very violent in their demand that I educate them about racism and/or tell them they’re good and nice and not the problem.

Me??

Me??

Ha!

You will fall asleep there.
You jump into my inbox with “I have a question”

So??

I also have bills.

Do you want to trade??
The sense of entitlement always rocks my world. I have 101 episodes of my podcast that explains the silly things they want to ask but no it isn’t about getting an answer, it’s about demanding my attention.

Nope.
“I don’t want a confrontation”

Again you’ve invaded my space but I’m still the aggressor??

You didn’t want a confrontation but guess what we are about to have??
Anything with “Black” as a prefix instantly sends a lot of white people into a frenzy because they’re simply not used to being told a space isn’t for them.

A lot of these ventures need to include Black in the name so Black people actually know they’re welcome and it’s safe.
Instead of empathising with why we would need to carve our space for ourselves in the first place, what some white people see is a denial of their entitlement to *every* space.

It’s your societally normalised sense of entitlement you should question, not our spaces.
It’s like when Jodie Marsh got upset about Black Girls Book Club.

Do you know how othered Black women are in literature both as the author and as the subject??

Piss off.
Your “confusion” about racism is your headache.

I will not take paracetamol for somebody else’s headache.
