The cops are just letting it happen, like they're letting everything else happen.

The reason why you saw an uptick in very large boom booms around the protests is the same reason parts of my city burned. Cops didn't do anything/hunkered down in one spot and didn't patrol? Cops setting off fireworks? They're lawless people from the sub/exurbs =

This is hearsay but someone in a neighborhood Facebook group talked about someone speaking to someone about where they got their fireworks and the source was a person in WI who normally sells to cities and has a ton of inventory they gotta move.
