Point of irritation:

I keep seeing women on this platform RTing men who are known to speak abusively and threateningly to women. You're not special and befriending men like this is unproductive.

If a man speaks abusively to *any* woman, he will speak abusively to *any* woman.

"Believe them when they tell you who they are," it's a BIG file.

How they treat others who annoy them or who are of no use to them is *exactly* how they will treat you when you resist their ideas and plans or are ALSO no longer of use to them. Pay attention. This platform is a masterclass in how people behave under adversity and who they harm.

This goes for all digital platforms. RTs will not help these men. Therapy will. They have a core misogyny that they hide until stress reveals it.

And by the way: Idealizing women here is a form of misogyny too, a way of replacing real, flawed women w/ a fantasy they can control

I simply urge you to pay attention and to take notes. The patriarchy is devious af.

Also! Do not make the mistake of being NICER to men who speak abusively in the hopes that he will spare you, or that your niceness will cure him. Only therapy will cure him. And you're spared only temporarily, until you're the main target in his sights. Step away and stay away.

PLEASE do NOT fall for the "I'm a feminist" line from men. Words are easy, and the more they present an idealized view of women, *the less they understand woman as equals.* Careful of the feminist-pedestal boys here, they are as harmful as misogynist bros.
