Are there any symptom-management techniques* that you wish you& #39;d known about much earlier because they& #39;re really helpful for you and there are few barriers to trying them?

*for any type of symptom, not picky here!
As somebody who has not yet been evaluated for hypermobility but was supposed to start shoulder PT this year, I definitely wish I& #39;d known about KT tape earlier. It really helps keep my grumpy shoulder in place.

(But I know a lot of folks have skin problems with the tape.)
Also just salt.

I didn& #39;t know about POTS at the time when my POTS was the worst, but I vaguely knew that electrolytes could be magic for my body because of trying the keto diet.

A huge thing I wish I& #39;d known earlier: nobody else is living in my body so their opinions about how I should be eating don& #39;t matter.

I found it really hard to have people on one side who believed in strict diets & on the other side saying those diets were quackery.

But following specific restrictive diets has never been with the effort for me long term because I don& #39;t think any of them perfectly align with my fickle body.

And elimination diets never gave me helpful info either.

But my diet def matters. Not quackery.
