Tell me something about your body that does not phase you at all but that healthy people always balk at.
I think for me it& #39;s the way I melt sometimes.

That& #39;s how I described it before I understood any of the physiology, but it& #39;s usually an autonomic thing where my body has decided that any sort of verticality is Not Happening.

It& #39;s disconcerting for people to see in real time.
A much subtler thing is the birthmark/skin condition on my face, which was proportionally much larger when I was a kid and so it was my first encounter with strangers feeling entitled to comment on my body.

A lot of people asked a prepubescent me if it was a hickey. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😕" title="Confused face" aria-label="Emoji: Confused face">
I just went looking for a picture that shows my birthmark and mostly I found various pictures meant to document my mysterious hives, so there& #39;s that too.

I wouldn& #39;t say I& #39;m totally unphased, but I do usually find that people around me are more worried than I am.
Anyway here is my birthmark (tried to remove because childhood doc says it was a cancer risk, removal didn& #39;t take) and my industrial (fainted on the sidewalk after long rest in the waiting area after piercing) and my bedhead (relatively tame atm).
