30 Things I learned from 30 days of fasting:

For the last 30 days I fasted, The fasts were 16 hours long.

The rules were: 

-No Food
-No Water or any liquids 
-No sex
1- Your mind is your biggest barrier

2-Fasting will connect you to your spiritual roots.

3- Losing weight is easy 

4- Discipline will take you further than motivation 

5- We live in a society of abundance 

6- Give more than you take.
7- Its hard to care about things that don’t matter when your hungry.

8- Don’t take the little things for granted. 

9- Dedicating yourself to something, and following through is the best form of reward. 

10- Discomfort is essential for growth.
11- Health is your biggest asset. 

12- Practicing gratitude is like exercise for the spirit. 

13- You can easily change someones life, if you wanted to. 

14- You can easily make someones day, if you wanted to. 

15- You should have dinner with your family more often.
16- Being in a fasted state improved focus and productivity. 

17- Being in a fasted state improves mental clarity.

18- Fasting will make you humble 

19- You will learn to be more empathetic 

20- Fasting will revitalize your body
21- Hunger can bring forth unpredictable anger 

22- Sharing your meals gives a sense of unity 

23- You will learn to respect your body 

24- You will learn the value of eating real food and avoiding junk. 

25- Fasting will help with learning to control unhealthy urges.
26- If you have access to food at all times, you are more blessed than you know. 

27- You will learn to appreciate the people in your life more. 

28- You will learn to appreciate the taste of healthy foods.
29- Breakfast is not the most important meal of the day

30- Consistency breeds mental fortitude.
