honestly the main thing stopping me from personally getting into politics is knowing that I could be sexually assaulted (or regular assaulted, shout-out to Klob) by some politician, and that even the "good" politicians like @BernieSanders would call them "a very decent man."

you can't get justice if a politician is the one who hurt you. at BEST they might resign. not worth the risk.

I had been toying with the idea of running for something locally, but Bernie saying that during his suspension announcement... that pretty much broke me. The whole system is rotten. There's no point in trying.

liberals love yelling "MORE WOMEN SHOULD RUN!" but if any women want concerns like this addressed it becomes "MORE WOMEN SHOULD GET THE FUCK OUT OF POLITICS!" real quick.
