At some point, Biden is going to need a sharper, more coherent November message for persuadable voters.

One Dem strategist's not-so-complicated advice: “'Joe Biden. Because it’s time for change.' Change is the best word in the English language in a wrong track election."

These two things can simultaneously be true:

1) Biden is well ahead and would beat Trump if the election were held today.
2) Clinton was farther ahead of Trump at this point in 2016.

It won't be as easy for Biden to hold onto a lead vs. Trump as it looks today.
