People are emotionally invested in coronavirus treatments not working.
Here's a quick test: If you see some negative results about hydroxychloroquine and your first thought is "TOLD YOU SO" or "FUCKING TRUMP" and not "wow, that's a shame, but let's wait and see for sure" then you don't actually care about the people who are sick.
This isn't a complicated equation. If HCQ works - everyone wins. If HCQ doesn't work - nobody wins. You think it's an insult to say I'm emotionally invested in coronavirus treatments proving effective? Fuck yeah I am. But not to the point of ignoring data. https://twitter.com/mcummings76/status/1253087746958262273
And yes there are people who REALLLLY want Trump to be right about this. But on the grand scale of things that would be a minor side effect to actually helping sick people.
Who ever said that? It's a prescription drug that is administered to patients who are hospitalized. https://twitter.com/Ignorem62281500/status/1253088794401746944
