Nobody read past the headline on that "hydroxycholorquine doesn't help" article. The "study" in it is not a study. It's a survey of past patients, which creates wildly varying datasets. It's not rigorous or peer-reviewed.

Stop milkshake ducking the fucking drug.
OBVIOUSLY it could turn out to not help. We need concrete data on this, not media-hyped surveys that don't actually say this in a substantial way because it's a good way to get at Trump. If the medical community stops using it, that will be a huge sign that it isn't helping.
All I've said from the start (feel free to search my tweets on this) was to stop trying to find flaws in it because of Trump, and yes it's because of Trump if every headline about it leads with Trump having hyped it. Don't sell me some bullshit about caring for actual patients.
If the media was generally concerned that patients were being given a drug that doesn't help them or even puts them at risk, their barbs would be directed at the medical community, not the president who has zero authority to have it administered to anyone.
Louder for the people in the back. https://twitter.com/tomselliott/status/1252964789816643584
Correct. What I'm saying is that we're still at the point we were before this "study" came out - that we don't know yet. https://twitter.com/PwnySlaystation/status/1252967011447123969
